Creamy Peanut Butter Whip

INGREDIENTS

8 ounces neufchatel cheeseor cream cheese , softened
2 cups Cool Whip Lite
1/2 cup sour cream or light sour cream
1/2 cup natural-style peanut butter (smooth and unsweetened)
1/2 cup Splenda granular
1 teaspoon vanilla
fresh fruit, to serve (especially good with bananas and berries)

Peanut Butter and Miracle Whip Sandwich

INGREDIENTS

2 slices white bread
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons Miracle Whip

DIRECTIONS

Spread the peanut butter on one slice, and Miracle Whip on the other. Smoosh ‘em together and enjoy.

Orange Whip Salad

INGREDIENTS

1 (11ounce)can mandarin oranges , drained
1 (8ounce)can crushed pineapple , drained
1 (6ounce)package orange flavor gelatin
16 ounces sour cream
8 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed

DIRECTIONS

In a mixing bowl, combine the oranges, pineapple and gelatin. Mix well and chill for 1/2 an hour.

Add sour cream to fruit; stir to mix.

Gently fold in whipped topping; chill and serve.

Southern Whip

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup sugar
1/2 orange, juice of
1 orange, rind of
1/2 pint whipping cream
1/2 cup sherry wine
3egg whites, only (at room temperature)

DIRECTIONS

Mix sugar and orange juice together and pour over orange peel.
Crush peel in juice with a wooden spoon and let stand one hour; strain.
Whip egg whites to stiff peaks; whip cream to soft peaks.

Miracle Whip from Mayonnaise

INGREDIENTS
For the additive
5 tablespoons vinegar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons sugar (OR Splenda)
1 teaspoon sweet paprika (must be fresh)
1 teaspoon garlic powder (must be fresh)
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
To make the Miracle Whip add
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise (OR see NOTE)

DIRECTIONS

Measure vinegar into small non-reactive saucepan. (e.g. Stainless steel or teflon coated).
Add cornstarch and let soften for a minute or so.Stir with non-metal spoon or whisk to remove any lumps.
