INGREDIENTS

2 cups water
2 ounces dry onion soup mix
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 (3-4lb) venison roast
10-12sandwich buns
cheese (optional)
pepper rings (optional)

DIRECTIONS

In a slow cooker, combine the first nine ingredients.
Add venison and stir.
Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until meat is tender and easy to break apart.
Using a slotted spoon, spoon into rolls or serve over noodles.

Crock Pot Venison Stroganoff

INGREDIENTS

2-3 lbs venison (stew meat)
28 ounces crushed tomatoes
2 (28ounce)cans water
5 teaspoons minced garlic
4 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons pepper
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons thyme
1 medium onion , chopped
1 cup red wine
2 cups sour cream
1 1/2 lbs wide egg noodles, uncooked
vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS

Cut stew meat into 1" pieces.
Dredge meat in flour.
Brown meat in oil with onion.
Transfer meat & onion to crock pot.
Add garlic, spices, wine and crushed tomatoes.
Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
30 minutes before serving add sour cream.
Boil noodles according to package directions.
Serve over noodles.

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs deer, cut into serving size pieces
1 1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 pinch pepper
2 tablespoons bacon grease
1 stalk celery
3 medium onions , sliced
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
2 cups crushed tomatoes

DIRECTIONS

Mix salt and pepper with flour and coat meat with it. Heat bacon grease in heavy skillet. Brown meat on both sides.

2 venison steak , Thick
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
150 ml beef stock
2 tablespoons red currant jelly
1 garlic clove
85 g blackberries
