12 small vol-au-vent cases
4 tablespoons cranberry sauce , preferably home-made
4 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon chopped chives

Marinade for Venison Backstrap

INGREDIENTS

6 tablespoons sesame oil
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup soy sauce

DIRECTIONS

Mix all ingredients together, stir well to dissolve the cornstarch.

Marinate meat for four hours at least. Overnight would be even better.

Be sure to brush marinade over meat while it is grilling.

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoons mustard

6 medium venison steak
1 (16ounce)can tomato sauce
1 (16ounce)can great northern beans or white beans
2-3 garlic cloves , minced
1 cup sliced mushrooms
