Orange Cooler in Shell

INGREDIENTS

30 ml rum
2 teaspoons Curacao
2 teaspoons lime juice
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar syrup
1 large orange

DIRECTIONS

Slice off the top 1/3 of the orange and cut out the fruit.Leave 45ml juice remaining in the orange.Shake all ingredients including the orange juice weill with some craked ice.

Strain in to the orange shell and serve with a straw.

INGREDIENTS

2 lbs raw peanuts , in the shell
3japanese dried chilies
2 star anise
4 inches gingerroot , roughly sliced
10 szechuan peppercorns (optional)
3 teaspoons salt (to taste)
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil

Mahvelous Pasta Shell Soup

INGREDIENTS

1 (16ounce)can garbanzo beans , drained
1 (28ounce)can plum tomatoes , undrained
6 slices bacon , cooked
8 ounces pepperoni slices, chopped
2 red onions , chopped
1 orange sweet bell pepper , chopped
1/2 cup peas
1 celery , chopped
2 carrots , chopped
4 large garlic cloves , chopped
1/2lemon, juice of
4 cups chicken stock
4 cups water
1 pinch sugar
2 teaspoons oregano
3 teaspoons basil
1 teaspoon cilantro
2 teaspoons thyme
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 (8ounce)package shell pasta

Blend plum tomatoes in blender for a rough puree.
Cook bacon, remove from pan.
Sautee pepperoni in bacon grease, remove from pan.When cooled, crumble.

Redfish on the Half Shell

INGREDIENTS

2-3 lbs whole red fish
1/2-1 lime, juice of
1/2 cup butter , melted
2-3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
Old Bay Seasoning, to taste
salt , to taste

DIRECTIONS

Slice whole redfish in half, length-wise.
Do not scale.
Lightly salt fish and coat with lime juice.
Melt butter.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, and Old Bay Seasoning.
Baste fish well with butter mixture.
Let marinate for 30 minutes before cooking.
Place fish on BBQ grill, scales down and cook.
