1 quart sauerkraut

3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

2 apples , peeled and quartered
1 (27ounce)can sauerkraut , undrained
1 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar , packed

sauerkraut
seasoning, of choice (not salt, it’s in the sauerkraut, i like sage, basil, pepper and sometimes a little bit of nutmeg)
