INGREDIENTS

8 small sweet potatoes or8medium sweet potatoes
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
To Finish
cooking spray
1 cup raw sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground mace
1 cup fresh orange juice

Raw Broccoli Salad

INGREDIENTS

2 bunches broccoli (florets cut small)
1/4 cup red onions , finely chopped
1/4 cup cashews , coarsely chopped
1/2 cup craisins
1/2 lb crisply fried bacon, cooled & finely broken
Dressing
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sugar
4 tablespoons apple cider

DIRECTIONS

Whisk together the dressing ingredients well and set aside.

Toss everything else together and pour dressing over salad.

Cool in fridge for an hour.
Note. I use a 9×13 glass dish for this recipe.

Super Raw Smoothie

INGREDIENTS

1 banana , frozen
1/4 cup almonds
3 dates
2 cups fruit
2 cups water
baby spinach (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Put all in a high speed blender and blend until smooth.

Vivian’s Raw Pie

INGREDIENTS

1 cup mixed raw seeds, and
nuts (cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, pecans-whatever you like)
3/4 cup coconut
1/4 cup flax seeds
12soft dates
2 tablespoons honey
4 ounces prune juice
fresh fruit (soft fruits work well (bananas, pears, peaches, berries, mango, kiwi, etc.)
4 tablespoons orange juice
1 dash cinnamon

Raw Torte

INGREDIENTS

2 cups walnuts
2 cups raisins
1 cup figs
1/2 lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

In a food processor combine walnuts and raisins until mixture is ‘fudgy’ and raisins are not gritty.
Spread mixture in pie pan.

Soak Figs and process in food processor with juice of half a lemon.
Spread mixture on top of walnut/raisin mixture.
Eat right away for a gooey texture or refrigerate for a slightly firmer tort.
