Bake a Plantation Peanut Butter Pie!!!!

INGREDIENTS

1unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie crust
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter (melted)
3 eggs (slightly beaten)
1 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Blend peanut butter, vanilla, salt, melted butter, eggs, corn syrup and sugar.

Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust.

Bake in450 degree oven for 10 minutes ONLY!
Then ~~~~ REDUCE TEMPERATURE to 325 degrees!

CONTINUE BAKING AT 325 DEGREES FOR 35 MINUTES, until filling is set.

Plantation Bars

INGREDIENTS

2 cups sugar
2 cups corn syrup
1 (40ounce)jar chunky peanut butter
6 cups Cheerios toasted oat cereal
6 cups Rice Krispies

DIRECTIONS

In a large saucepan, cook and stir sugar and corn syrup until the sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat.

Add peanut butter and mix well.

Stir in cereals.

spread quickly into two lightly greased 10×15 inch baking pans.

Cut into bars while warm.

Plantation Sour Cream Cookies

INGREDIENTS

1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs , beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups flour (amount is approximate, enough to make a drop dough)
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

preheat oven to 350F and grease baking sheets.

Cream butter and sugar together until light; add sour cream, eggs and vanilla.

Sift dry ingredients together and add gradually to first mixture.

Drop from a spoon onto prepared sheet and bake until golden brown, about 12 minutes.
