INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons sugar
2 (1/4ounce)packages active dry yeast
1/2 cup lukewarm potato water
1 cup mashed potatoes
1/8 teaspoon ginger
1/2 cup milk
2 teaspoons salt
6 eggs
1 3/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
8 cups flour

DIRECTIONS

Add the sugar and yeast to potato water, stir until dissolved. Blend in potatoes and ginger.
