INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup Kahlua
1/2 cup golden syrup
200 g pitted dates , finely chopped
200 g dried figs , chopped finely
170 g raisins , chopped
135 g sultanas
80 g currants
200 g mixed glace fruit (cherries apricot, pineapple, rinds)
3 tablespoons mixed spice

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat.
Cook stirring occasionally for 8-10 minutes until fruit if plump and warm.

INGREDIENTS

1 apple
400 g fruit mincemeat
3 tablespoons brandy
4 sheets shortcrust pastry (sweet)
2 sheets puff pastry
1/2 teaspoon golden syrup
1 tablespoon water

INGREDIENTS

225 g plain flour
100 g butter , chilled and cubed roughly
3 tablespoons muscovado sugar
2grated satsuma oranges , zest and juice
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
icing sugar , for dusting

1 lb ground beef
1 (1 1/4ounce)package bisto gravy mix (any gravy mix will do)
1 cup water
2 tablespoons onions , chopped
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 (8ounce)can mushrooms (optional)
4-6 potatoes , peeled and boiled
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon canola oil
1 onion
1 teaspoon minced garlic
500 g beef mince
2 tablespoons tomato paste or tomato sauce
1 teaspoon dried herbs
400 g canned spaghetti in tomato sauce
