Putting this moist pudding under the broiler for a few minutes allows the brown sugar topping to melt into a sweet syrup.

Makes 8 servings.

3 3/4cups whole milk
3/4cup sugar
1/3cup quick-cooking tapioca
2large eggs
1 1/2teaspoons finely grated lime peel
1/4teaspoon salt

2 pints mango sorbet (4 cups)
1 pint vanilla ice cream (2 cups)
6 ounces fresh blackberries (1 1/2 cups)
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons creme de cassis (black-currant liqueur)

Put sorbet and ice cream in refrigerator until evenly softened, 45 minutes to 1 hour.

300 ml boiling water
300 ml cold water
300 ml evaporated milk
2 mangoes (diced)

DIRECTIONS

In a bowl, mix the Jelly Crystals and the boiling water until it is dissolved.
