4 large leeks , white and light green parts
4 leaves fresh rosemary (substitute sage or any of your favorite holiday herb)

INGREDIENTS

4 tablespoons butter
2 large leeks , cleaned and sliced thinly
1 cup chicken stock
1 cup orzo pasta
1/2 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper
ground nutmeg (optional)
4 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Cook orzo in boiling salted water and drain.

1 large onion , coarsely chopped
salt & freshly ground black pepper
1 large carrot , coarsely chopped
1 stalk celery , coarsely chopped
