2 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 medium shallots , minced
1 cup demi-glace
1 tablespoon lavender honey, plus
1 teaspoon lavender honey
2 teaspoons red wine vinegar

Lavender Cheesecake

INGREDIENTS

2 (8ounce)packages cream cheese
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons crushed lavender buds
prepared graham cracker crusts

DIRECTIONS

Blend all ingredients well.
Pour in graham cracker crust.
Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
Cool and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Garnish with fresh lavender blossoms if desired.

Relaxing Lavender Bath

INGREDIENTS

1 cup dried lavender flowers
2 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup baking soda

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until a fine, smooth powder is achieved (should be about the consistancy of whole wheat flour).

Pour into a clean, airtight container.

To use: Pour 1/2 cup into the bath as you fill the tub.

Lavender Water

INGREDIENTS

2 1/2 cups distilled water
1/4 cup vodka
8 drops lavender oil

DIRECTIONS

Mix all ingredients.

Pour into a container and shake to thoroughly mix.

Pour into decorative bottles.
