1 lb lean ground meat
1 garlic clove , minced
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 (1lb)can tomatoes
2 (6ounce)cans tomato paste
10 ounces lasagna noodles
3 cups ricotta cheese
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
2beaten eggs
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 lb mozzarella cheese , grated
1 tablespoon olive oil

DIRECTIONS

Brown meat.

Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.

Cook noodles according to package directions.

Drain and spread noodles out to cool on wax paper.

Combine remaining ingredients, except Mozzarella and oil.

Spread olive oil on bottom of 13 x 9 baking pan.

INGREDIENTS

6-8lasagna noodles
1/2-1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 lb low-fat sausage
1 medium onion
1 garlic clove or1teaspoongarlic salt
2 cups tomatoes
16 ounces tomato paste (or 8 ounces tomato paste and 12 oz can tomato sauce)
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1 lb cottage cheese
2 eggs , beaten
1/2 cup lowfat parmesan cheese
1 lb part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/4-1/2 lb Velveeta reduced fat cheese product
