INGREDIENTS

2/3 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon orange extractor orange zest
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 egg
4 teaspoons milk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

DIRECTIONS

Thoroughly cream the SOFTENED butter and the sugar, orange extract, and vanilla.

NOTE: I prefer orange extract over the zest because I think it has a stronger flavor. Although zesting an orange is probably cheaper.

3 cups self-rising flour
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons dried dill
Additional Ingredients
12 ounces beer (or 12 oz. unflavored seltzer)
1/2 cup butter , melted

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
