INGREDIENTS

1 1/2-2 lbs roast pork
4 garlic cloves , peeled and crushed
2 teaspoons coarse salt
1 tablespoon minced fresh sage
2 teaspoons minced rosemary
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil

2 lbs fresh green beans (cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces)
24 small cherry tomatoes , halved
1/2 cup red onions , chopped
3/4 cup fresh parsley , chopped
1/4 cup fresh cilantro , chopped
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese , grated
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Whole Wheat Herb Dumplings (Backpacking)

INGREDIENTS

1 cup whole wheat flour
4 tablespoons powdered milk
2 tablespoons rolled oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons dried herbs
2 tablespoons butter

INGREDIENTS

1 tablespoon vegetable stock powder
2 tablespoons dried mushrooms , broken up
2 tablespoons dried chives
1 tablespoon dried herbs
2 garlic cloves , crushed
4 sun-dried tomatoes , finely chopped
fresh grated carrots (optional)

DIRECTIONS
