INGREDIENTS

1 lb unpeeled large shrimp
4 teaspoons olive oil , divided
1/2 cup dry white wine
2 cups water
1 (8ounce)bottle clam juice
1 bay leaf
3 cups chopped onions
1 tablespoon tomato paste
6 garlic cloves , minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

420 g cannellini beans , drained
1/2lemon, juice of
3-4 sun-dried tomatoes
8 black olives , stoned
salt & freshly ground black pepper
3-4 basil leaves , torn

DIRECTIONS

1 (170g)jar marinated artichokes , drained
