1/2 lb fresh scallops (or frozen)
1/2 (8ounce)can water chestnuts (about 12)
3 slices bacon , each cut into 4 pieces and partially fried
1/2 green pepper , cut into chunks
1firm medium tomato , cut into wedgesor
8 cherry tomatoes
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 lb bacon
30 large oysters, shucked
6 slices toast
skewers (if using bamboo skewers, soak for an hour before using)
