Baked Brie En Croute

INGREDIENTS

1 sheet frozen puff pastry , pre-packaged
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/2 cup sliced almonds or walnuts
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup apricot preservesor strawberry preserves
1 (8ounce) brie round
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg , beaten
crackers, for serving

Preheat oven to 375°F.
Defrost puff pastry for approximately 15 to 20 minutes and unfold.
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

INGREDIENTS
Brie
8 ounces brie round
1/2 cup cranberry orange sauce
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
crackers
Cranberry orange Sauce
2 cups fresh cranberries or frozen cranberries
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange marmalade

DIRECTIONS

Heat oven to 325º.

Place cheese on cookie sheet and bake 10 to 15 minutes or until softened.

Spoon cranberry orange sauce over cheese and sprinkle with almonds.

16 slices Canadian bacon
1 (8ounce) round brie cheese
8 large eggs , lightly beaten
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
