Breakfast in a Blender

INGREDIENTS

1 scoop protein powder
1/3 cup dry oatmeal
2/3 cup water or milk
1 tablespoon natural almond butter or peanut butter
1frozen banana
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1/2 cup ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

Blend all ingredients.

INGREDIENTS

4 eggs
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2-1 cup coconut (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Put all ingredients into a blender at high speed for 30 seconds.
Pour into greased 9- or 10-inc pie pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

Cold Blender Borscht

INGREDIENTS

3 cups beef bouillon, cold
1 (16ounce)can whole medium beets , chilled and undrained
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
pepper
1 tablespoon minced lemon peel (optional)
8 tablespoons sour cream

DIRECTIONS

Put all of the above except the sour cream in a blender and blend for 1/2 minute until smooth.

Chill and then serve in chilled bowls and top each bowl with 1 TBS of sour cream.

Frog in a Blender

INGREDIENTS

1 cup ice
2 ounces vodka
4 ounces cranberry juice
2 slices limes , wheels

DIRECTIONS

Place all the ingredients in a blender, including the lime wheels.
Blend for 3-5 seconds.
Make sure that the ingredients do not completely blend.
Pour into a chilled hurricane glass.

Quick Blender Salmon Spread

INGREDIENTS

1 (15 1/2ounce)can red salmon , drained
1/4 cup celery , thinly sliced
1/4 cup onions , chopped
2 tablespoons reduced-calorie mayonnaise
1 tablespoon reduced-calorie chili sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth.

Transfer mixture to a small serving bowl and cover; chill throughly in refrigerator for an hour or so.

Serve with rye crackers or melba toast rounds.
