INGREDIENTS

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine , softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 (8ounce)package toffee pieces, HEATH BITS ‘O BRICKLE

Sweet Bread Bits

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (stale or fresh)
2 tablespoons margarine
2 teaspoons honey
1 mandarin orange , peeled

DIRECTIONS

If your breadcrumbs are fresh, microwave them for one to two minutes. (They’re nicer than plain stale ones).

Corn Chips With Bits

INGREDIENTS

1 (450g)can refried beans
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1 (200g)packet corn chips
2 cups grated cheese (I use tasty cheddar)

DIRECTIONS

Mix the beans and Tabasco sauce together.

Place a teaspoon of the bean mixture on each corn chip.

Sprinkle the cheese over top and cook under a hot grill (broiler) for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
