1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup all-purpose flour
2/3 cup brown sugar , packed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup canola oil
3 tablespoons apple juice
1 (10ounce)jar apricot preserves (preferably all fruit)

Apricot Truffles

INGREDIENTS

750 g dried apricots
2 cups desiccated coconut
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
590 g sweetened condensed milk (or 1 1/2 tins)
3 teaspoons lemon juice

DIRECTIONS

Mince apricots in blender.

Combine with 1 1/2 cups of coconut and all other ingredients (reserving 1/2 cup coconut for rolling) and blend well.

Take a teaspoonful of mixture and roll into balls.

Toss in extra coconut.

Store in fridge.

Apricot-Honey Milk Mask

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup dried apricots
1/2 cup warm water
1 tablespoon powdered milk
1 tablespoon honey (raw honey is best)

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Spread over your face and neck and leave on for 15-20 minutes.

Rinse off with tepid water and pat dry.
