INGREDIENTS

1 cucumber
1 carrot
1/2 red onion
1 cup thinly sliced white cabbage (green also works)
1 garlic clove , halved
2fresh serrano chilies , halved
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons sugar

DIRECTIONS

Cut the cucumber, carrots, and onion into julienne strips.
Place all vegetables in a medium-large glass bowl, sprinkle with salt and toss to combine.

INGREDIENTS

750 g chicken
1/2 cup coriander leaves , chopped
1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
8 red chilies , whole
1 teaspoon red chili powder
4 medium tomatoes
5 cloves
1 teaspoon onion seeds
6 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons ginger , chopped
2 medium onions
salt
1 tablespoon garlic , chopped
1 teaspoon mustard seeds

DIRECTIONS

Wash and cut the chicken into 11/2" cubes.
Take off and cut the onions.
Cut the tomatoes.
