Sweet Potato Pecan Bread (Abm)

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup water
3/4 cup cooked sweet potatoes, mashed
2 tablespoons brown sugar (dark)
3 tablespoons powdered milk
3 tablespoons butter , cut into pieces
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 pinches nutmeg
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3 cups bread flour
4 tablespoons rolled oats
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
3 tablespoons dried cherries , chopped (or raisins)
1/3 cup pecans , chopped

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients except cherries (raisins) and pecans in bread machine pan in order recommended by manufacturer.
Set on raisin bread setting.When machine beeps, add cherries and pecans.

Maple Oatmeal Bread (Abm)

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 cups warm water , plus
1 tablespoon warm water
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup quick-cooking oats
3 cups bread flour
1 (1/4ounce)package active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp jarred yeast)

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients in bread machine pan in order recommended by manufacturer.

Use medium bake setting.

Cool on wire rack before slicing.

Sesame Cashew Bread (Abm)

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup cashews , finely chopped
1 1/4 cups water
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups bread flour
3 tablespoons nonfat dry milk powder
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast

DIRECTIONS

Toast sesame seeds and cashews in a hot skillet over high heat. Watch carefully so they don’t burn.

Place all of the other ingredients in the bread machine according to manufacturer’s instructions.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup sour cream
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

DIRECTIONS

Put everything in the bread machine according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Spiced Honey Bread (Abm)

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons milk
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup honey
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/3 teaspoons coriander
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon anise seeds , crushed
3/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3 1/8 cups bread flour
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast

DIRECTIONS

Bake according to manufacturer’s instructions.
