INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb carrots , julienned
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom seeds , ground
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a pot and stir to coat the carrots evenly.
  2. Set over a medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until tender.
