Makes 1 1/4 cups.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1cup mayonnaise
  • 2tablespoons drained capers, chopped
  • 2tablespoons chopped cornichons, gherkins or dill pickles
  • 1 1/2tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1tablespoon minced canned chipotle chilies*

    DIRECTIONS

    Mix all ingredients in medium bowl to blend. Season to taste with salt.


    *Chipotle chilies canned in a spicy tomato sauce, sometimes called adobo, are available at Latin American markets, specialty foods stores and some supermarkets.
