    Dough
  • 3 ounces cream cheese , softened
  • 1/2 cup butter , softened
  • 1 cup flour
  • Filling

  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a large bowl, mix cream cheese and butter until well blended, slowly add the flour.Press mixture into a 9×9 inch square baking dish or pan.
  2. For the filling:In a medium bowl, mix egg and brown sugar and slowly add chopped pecans.Pour over crust and bake 20 to 25 minutes.Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
