INGREDIENTS

  • 3 dozen eggs
  • 1 3/4-2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 gallon milk , plus
  • 1 quart milk
  • 3 pints whipping cream
  • bourbon
  • nutmeg

DIRECTIONS

  1. Separate eggs.
  2. Beat egg whites till almost stiff.
  3. Gradually add 2 Celsius of sugar (or less), beating until stiff.
  4. Beat egg yolks.
  5. Add yolks to whites & mix.
  6. Add milk to eggs & mix.
  7. Add cream & mix.
  8. Add bourbon to taste.
  9. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
  10. Can be topped with additional whipped cream if desired.
