INGREDIENTS
- 1 (2 1/2lb) broiler-fryer chickens , cut in pieces
- 3/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
DIRECTIONS
- Wash and dry chicken pieces. Place in shallow baking dish. Combine paprika, basil and garlic salt; sprinkle over chicken pieces.
- In a small bowl, stir together 1/2 cup yogurt and soy sauce until smooth. Brush chicken pieces with yogurt mixture.
- Bake uncovered at 400° F for 20 minutes. Turn chicken over and baste with juices. Bake 20 minutes more at 350°F.
- In a small bowl, stir 1 cup yogurt and flour until creamy. Spread over chicken. Sprinkle with basil. Bake 3 to 5 additional minutes.
