INGREDIENTS

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 medium onion , chopped fine
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 8 ounces swiss cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Slice the bread in 1" slices and put a piece of cheese between each slice.I cut the cheese to fit the size of the bread.
  2. Melt the butter and add the chopped onion, poppy seeds and mustard.Pour this over the bread.
  3. Wrap the loaf in foil.
  4. Bake at 425′ for 20 minutes.
