INGREDIENTS

    Meat Filling
  • 1/2 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 small garlic clove , finely minced
  • pepper
  • 1 (6ounce)can tomato paste
  • Cheese filling

  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Crust

  • 2 (8ounce)cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 375°F In a skillet cook sausage and ground beef over medium high heat. When cooked through, stir in the remaining meat filling ingredients. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered five minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. In a small bowl, mix cheese filling ingredients. Unroll Dough into four long rectangles. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet with the long sides of the dough overlapping; firmly press edges and perforations of the dough to seal.
  3. Spoon the meat mixture down the center of the dough to within 1 inch of each end. Spoon cheese filling over meat mixture, to with mozzarella cheese.
  4. Fold shortest sides of dough over filling. Fold long sides of dough tightly over filling, to seal. Firmly pinch center seam and ends. Brush with milk; Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Bake 23 to 27 minutes or until golden brown.
