INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups broccoli , chopped
  • 2 medium onions , chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts , toasted
  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Steam broccoli and set aside.
  2. Sauté onions in butter and oil.
  3. Add broccoli, then pine nuts and wine.
  4. Add lemon juice a bit at a time.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed.
