INGREDIENTS

  • 2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed)
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine , melted
  • 1 (16ounce)container sour cream
  • 6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce)can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup onions , chopped
  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter or margarine , melted
  • salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place thawed potatoes in large bowl.
  2. Add 1/2 cup melted butter to potatoes.
  3. Add in sour cream, cheese, soup, onion salt and pepper. mix well.
  4. Place in 9 x 13 greased baking dish.
  5. Mix the crushed corn flakes and2-3 tablespoons melted butter together. sprinkle on top of potatoes.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 50-60 minutes.
