INGREDIENTS

  • 10 marshmallows , regular size
  • 1/4 lb butter , one stick
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt 10 marshmallows along with the butter in a double boiler.
  2. Boil the evaporated milk with the sugar for 6 minutes.
  3. Pour milk mixture and marshmallow mixture over the chocolate chips and mix with wooden spoon until creamy and thick which is about 8 minutes.
  4. Add the vanilla and nuts and then pour into buttered 8×8 pan.Cool in refrigerator and then cut into squares.
