INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 8 ounces dried beef, diced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup butter
DIRECTIONS
- Over medium heat, combine milk, onion, mustards, and beef in sauce pan.
- Mix together flour and butter until very smooth. (The smoother this is, the less chance the gravy will taste like flour.).
- Add flour/butter to milk.
- Heat to just before boiling.
- Simmer to reach desired texture.
- Serve over toast.
