INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion , chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • pepper , to taste
  • 1/4-1/2 cup water
  • garlic powder , to taste
  • 3 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 3 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup grated cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. brown ground beef.
  2. add onions, salt, pepper, garlic powder, salt and Worcestershire sauce, cook until golden. drain excess fat.
  3. add soup, water and rice, mix well.
  4. add cabbage
  5. if layered - put cabbage at bottom of casserole dish. pour meat mixture over cabbage.
  6. Top with cheese.
  7. Cover and bake at 325 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours.
