INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g boneless skinless cod
  • 4lemons, juice of
  • salt
  • 20 g ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons ajwain
  • 1 teaspoon red chili paste
  • 100 g besan
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • oil (for frying)
  • 1 teaspoon chat masala

DIRECTIONS

  1. Marinate fish in lemon juice and salt for 1 hour.
  2. Drain extra moisture .
  3. Make a paste of the remaining spices and ingredients and beat to make it smooth, marinate for second time all the pieces of fish for 2 hours.
  4. Deep fry the fish in oil till crisp.
  5. Serve hot garnished with onion slices and lemon.
