INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb sweet potatoes , cubed
  • 1 shallot , diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup milk

DIRECTIONS

  1. boil potatoes, adding shallots to the water as it comes to a boil.
  2. drain.
  3. mash, adding butter and milk.
  4. season to taste with salt and pepper.
