INGREDIENTS

  • 3 quarts popped popcorn
  • 1/4 cup butter , cubed
  • 1 (10 1/2ounce)package miniature marshmallows
  • 1 (3ounce)package orange flavor gelatin
  • 12green dot decorative candies
  • 1-2 tablespoon marshmallow creme
  • green fruit roll-ups (fruit by the foot fruit roll)
  • black licorice bootlace

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place popcorn in large bowl.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallows on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until melted.
  3. Stir in gelatin powder until dissolved.
  4. Pour over popcorn and toss to coat.
  5. With lightly buttered hands, quickly shape mixture into twelve 3-inch balls, flattening one side slightly.
  6. For each stem, insert a green Dots candy at the top of pumpkin, attaching with marshmallow creme.
  7. Decorate jack o’lantern faces as desired with fruit roll and licorice, attaching with marshmallow creme if necessary.
