INGREDIENTS

  • 3 1/3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 (15ounce)can pumpkin

DIRECTIONS

  1. Sift together all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make a well in the dry ingredients - add the oil, eggs, water, vanilla and pumpkin.
  3. Beat together well
  4. Put in 2 greased 9×5x3 inch pans.
  5. Bake at 350 for one hour.
