INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup onions , chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic , finely chopped
  • 1/2 lb white American cheese , shredded
  • 1/2 lb white jalapeno pepper cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

DIRECTIONS

  1. Meanwhile, melt butter in 3-quart saucepan until sizzling; add onion and garlic.
  2. Cook over medium heat until softened.
  3. Reduce heat to low; add cheeses and milk.
  4. Cook, stirring occasionally, until cheeses are melted.
  5. Add sour cream; mix well.
  6. Cook until heated through
  7. Serve warm dip with bone crackers.
