INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2egg yolks, separated and set aside
- 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup margarine , melted
DIRECTIONS
- Mix corn meal, baking soda, and salt together.
- Add buttermilk; combine.
- Beat egg whites until frothy and add.
- Add in hot margarine and mix.
- Fold in slightly beaten egg yolks.
- Cook at 450°F until done, 20-30 minutes.
