INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups yellow cornmeal
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2egg yolks, separated and set aside
  • 1 1/3 cups buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup margarine , melted

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix corn meal, baking soda, and salt together.
  2. Add buttermilk; combine.
  3. Beat egg whites until frothy and add.
  4. Add in hot margarine and mix.
  5. Fold in slightly beaten egg yolks.
  6. Cook at 450°F until done, 20-30 minutes.
