INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (10ounce)can chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 small carrot , cut in coins
  • 2 tablespoons star shaped pasta (stellini)
  • parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat the broth, water and carrot slices to boiling.
  2. Simmer, covered, about 5 minutes until carrots are tender.
  3. Stir in the pasta, simmer, uncovered until the pasta is tender; 5-8 minutes. Ladle into bowls and sprinkle with cheese.
