INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion , chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves , minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 (14 1/2ounce)cans diced tomatoes , undrained
  • 2 (14 1/2ounce)cans tomato sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brown ground beef, onion and garlic.
  2. Add rest of ingredients; stirring until well mixed.
  3. Simmer covered for 1 hour.
