INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit.
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together. Add the eggs and beat well.
  3. Sift the dry ingredients. Add gradually to the butter mixture alternating with the mashed banana. Stir in the nuts.
  4. Pour into a well greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes.
  6. Remove from the pan and let cool on a rack.
