INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups stale bread cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 cups thinly sliced fruit (peaches, apples, or whole berries)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brown bread in butter.
  2. Add honey and fruit.
  3. Cover and cook until fruit is tender, about 8 minutes.
  4. Serve hot or cold with heavy cream.
  5. Serves 4.
