INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup onions , chopped
  • 1 cup celery , chopped
  • 1 cup carrots , sliced
  • 1 tablespoon beef bouillon
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 (28ounce)can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/3 cup rice
  • 1 bay leaf

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brown beef and drain fat.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer until all vegetables are tender, approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
