INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix sugar, cocoa and milk and butter in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a full rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
  4. Place saucepan in a pan of cold water and beat with an electric mixer until a thick spreading consistency.
